About Us

Foundation To Be Named Later brings people together who share a passion and purpose to invest in young people and the organizations that support them in the cities we love. Our communities’ shared passions for music and baseball are the backdrop for our legendary fundraisers which generate support for our nonprofit partners and our Peter Gammons College Scholars.

Our nonprofit partners are boldly changing the game for urban youth and through these organizations, we identify our Peter Gammons College Scholars, exceptionally talented young people with big dreams for college and career. These Gammons Scholars receive tuition grants, leadership training and mentors who are personally invested in helping them achieve success.

Knowing the deep divide between those who have a lot and those who don’t, they started an organization to support urban youth and families and called it Foundation To Be Named Later, a playful nod to the Major League Baseball Trade Term: Player To Be Named Later.

Everything about this foundation – our culture, our fundraising, our impact – is unscripted, entrepreneurial, and often surprising, just like the term PTBNL connotes in baseball.
